Updated Foundation Swatches

I've been meaning to do this for ages, probably since my last swatch post got messed up on my blog.

Here's an updated foundation swatch post.

1st row from the left:
MAC Studio Fix Fluid NC37
MAC Studio Fix Fluid NC40
MAC ProLongwear NC42
MAC Mineralize Moisture NC25
MAC Mineralize Moisture NC40

2nd row (middle):
Urban Decay Naked Skin 4.0
Urban Decay Naked Skin 6.0
Nars Sheer Glow Stromboli
Nars Sheer Glow Barcelona
MAC Face & Body C3
MAC Mineralize Moisture NC25+yellow food colouring.

3rd row:
YSL Touché Eclat Foundation BD50
Maybelline Fit Me 220
Bobbi Brown Stick Foundation 4.5 Warm Natural
Mehron Celebre Pro HD Eurasia Japonais
Bare Minerals Bare Skin Serum Bare Buff 10

Taken under different angles and lighting so you can differentiate between shades. Hope this was helpful!

  1. Great post (Instagram farifix) I think I'm exact same shade as you,and I could NEVER wear Mac, and now looking at nearly all my collection alongside Mac they do come across very orange rather than yellow, this would translate on my face. How do you find Mac matches you?

    1. Yeah same here! Mac looks peachy orange on me, it really makes the olive yellow green stand out in my skin. C3 was the closest but it lacks the golden depth but the undertone is correct.

  3. Hi Zahra I'm a fellow south Indian struggling to find the perfect shade of foundation just like you. During my research I stumbled upon your blog and realized that you and I seem to be having the exact yellow skin tone and facing the same skin problems. These swatches and your extremely detailed reviews are so helpful to me. Thank you so much :)
PS: Out of all the MAC foundations I've used, MAC Matchmaster 4.0 seems to be the closest match but it does oxidize and become orange so a primer is must. Give it a try if you get a chance.

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words, I'm glad my blog is useful for many fellow olive skinned girls out there. I'll try 4.0 soon if I can get my hands on it. Thank you so much xxx

  4. This post is heaven sent! I was going to suggest the Giorgio Armani LS in 6 but I see you've already tried it :P

  5. Anyone know if Mac Studio Fix Fluid in C3 will be the same colour as Face & Body C3?

  6. Which Mac studio fix is closest shade to the Fitme 220? There’s no Mac store around me and I’ve been using Fitme 220
